Smith's Shoe Center

Smith's Sport 'n Shoe, a family-owned retail shoe store established in the 1950s, was uprooting from a large Midwestern Mall to a place of their own in a retail traditional "strip" center. MyersCroxton Group worked with the third-generation owner to transition the move and develop a new, more relevant Brand identity to launch the relocated facility. The Brand Design strategy include a simplified name change, refreshingly new color palette, signage and point-of-sale graphics, and Brand-centered messaging in all print and broadcast advertising. Adding to the fun environment that shoppers can expect, a visual twist of "footprints" was incorporated into the typography of the Brandmark design.
